European Works Council
Ensuring Every Participant Can Be Heard
The European Works Council is a body that represents employees across the European Economic Area and as such, discussion are multilingual. Audio Interpretation Services can ensure that language is not a barrier.
The European Works Council (EWC) Directive came into force in 1996, which led to large organisations operating across the European Union needing to establish forums for the purposes of informing and consulting employees. By their very nature, these meetings are multi-lingual and the directive specifically mentions the requirements for simultaneous interpretation to ensure that all participants can understand the proceedings and contribute in their native language.

European Works Council meetings bring together speakers of many different languages to negotiate collectively. Therefore, every participant must be able to communicate to all the others as well as understand them. With the necessary technical knowledge and event experience, you can be assured that language will not be a barrier at your next European Works Council meeting.
